Meet Emily: Moody Frames, Sunny Disposition

I’ve been photographing for as long as I can remember. Basically born with a camera in my hand, dramatic little origin story and all.

I’m drawn to cool people, honest moments, and the in-between spaces that sometimes go unnoticed. The half-smile before the pose breaks. The detail in the corner of the frame. The feeling you can’t quite explain, but want to come back to.

My favourite images are the ones that make you linger a little longer. The kind you revisit and notice something new each time, like the nostalgia of an I Spy book, but with more mood, more skin, more eyeliner, and better lighting.

I photograph people in a way that feels natural, bold, and true to them. From portraits and creative projects to music, events, lifestyle, and boudoir, I’m always chasing that balance between presence and perspective.

Boudoir is part of that. To me, it’s about creating art with our bodies and meeting ourselves with curiosity instead of judgment. These sessions are honest, empowering, and playful. A place to explore, express, soften, sharpen, celebrate, and maybe fall a little in love with the version of yourself that shows up.

At the heart of it, my work is an ode to beauty, art, and the human form. A little dark, a little divine, and made best with thoughtful, curious people.
